Missoula Montana - Rest Day

TOP

By Lucija:

We sure don't seem to write much on our rest days.  That's because they disappear very quickly to errands.  For example, in Missoula I kept myself busy with laundry, finding food to eat (this takes a surprising amount of time given that we are very reluctant to get back on our bikes and end up walking everywhere), writing postcards, making a trip to the pharmacy for toothpaste, updating our website, and sleeping...  and there you have it, a full day.

I do have to give credit to University of Montana where we were staying.  They had the best facilities we have experienced to date at a university.  The dorms had nice wood furniture. Also, the student center was surprisingly convenient - it included everything from a convenience store, book store, massage parlor (too bad I did not know this in time!), hair dresser, etc...  a true one stop shop for a tired biker.
